How is the color fastness rated?
In the rating of color fastness, it is necessary to comprehensively assess the changes of the three attributes of color, that is, the changes of hue, lightness and purity.
1、 Hue: Hue refers to the appearance of colors. Among the three attributes, hue can be used to distinguish colors. According to different wavelengths of light, colors have the properties of red, yellow or green, which is called hue.
2、 Brightness: according to the degree of light reflected by the object surface, the brightness of the color will be different. The brightness of this color is called lightness.
3、 Purity: refers to the saturation degree of color. The simpler the light wave length is, the higher the hue purity is. On the contrary, the lower the purity is.
